PROVERB PRACTICALS   Wisdom far out shines rubies, Proverbs 8:7-9 audio

Proverbs 8:7-9,  For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.  All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.  They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

In our study of Proverbs, chapter 8 we have learned that wisdom and understanding cries out to all, at all places, and at all times.

She cries to the powerful, to the simple and even to the fool.

She urges all to hear and that which is heard from wisdom is always excellent and always right.

We will pick up further knowledge about wisdom as we continue our study in Proverbs 8:7-9.

The simple and the fool have been told to hear.

They have been told that wisdom will speak of excellent things, of right things.

But the simple and the fool tend to lend their ears to things that are coarse, tasteless, indecent, and crude.

They shun that which is pure and true and righteous.

That is the normal way of the simple and the fool.

God will not delve in those arenas for all that he speaks is truth.

The godly will delve in the arenas that God delves in.

That is why the Godly love God’s word for God’s word is truth.

God’s word is pure. There is never a time when God’s word is impure.

God’s laws of creation are pure.

They all function according to God’s wisdom and never deviate from prescribed patterns.

Everything that our country does in the space program depends upon this.

All technology depends upon this constancy of God.

When you walk, when you sit down, when you sleep, you depend upon the constancy of the pureness of God’s laws in his creation.

Both God’s word as it has been given to us, and God’s natural laws speak truth.

Both are given according to God’s wisdom and are always right.

They are within the realm of righteousness which means conformity to the divine law.

Every administration that Jesus Christ conducts is in righteousness.

In His kingdom there will be no decisions made for political reasons.

There will be no decisions respecting particular men or women.

All decisions will be made in conformity with divine law.

But Man is now outside this conformity for man has a fallen nature.

God’s word to man is designed to correct that, for God has sent his son Jesus Christ to conform man to God’s righteousness.

All in the universe will conform to the divine law, for God will not permit anything froward or perverse in his presence.

For all in his presence will yield and comply with what He requires.

The name of Jesus today in many circles is a curse word but God will have his way in the end for, as we read in:

Philippians 2:10-11,  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This is in accordance with his divine will.

God’s natural law is also in conformity with his divine will.

The law of gravity does not rebel against God’s will.

It performs as created all of the time and can be depended upon to perform for God all the time he desires.

This is God’s will for all of his creation.

We are told in Psalm 19:1,  The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.

God has provided every means to know him.

Every man, every woman can look up and see the works of God in the heavens.

He has provided as handiwork, the sky, the planets, the sun, the moon, the stars.

He simply calls it handiwork.

Handiwork is something that we do in our spare time.

It almost sounds like hobby time.

That is what God thinks of the heavens. Just handiwork.

Men give their lives to study God’s handiwork and think that it is so immense and beyond understanding, but God simply thinks of it as his handiwork.

The message in this is that we have not seen anything yet.

Just wait until God opens up the eternal heaven’s glory to you.

The heavens and the firmament that he allows us to see with our natural eye are just a taste of what he will show his children when the time comes for them to be with him.

But the heavens and the firmament that we see now are there to declare his glory.

They are there to reveal himself to the honest seeker.

The man who sees God’s wisdom all around will come to know God for God will reveal himself to him through His Son Jesus Christ.

For everything will be make plain to him.

Proverbs 8:9 makes this clear,  They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

George Washington Carver was an honest and humble seeker and God made things plain to him.

He opened his eyes to marvelous things for he was one who knew the One who had made those marvelous things.

Even in the lowly peanut, the poor man’s nut, God’s glory and wisdom is revealed to the man of understanding, the man who recognizes that all things came about by God’s wisdom and God’s wisdom alone.

All men, all women who do not know God do it willingly for God has made all plain that He exists.

God’s creation announces this plainly and God’s word makes it personal.

God’s word is his love letter to all who have honestly listened to him by the message of his creation.

The heart is so deceitful that it convinces men and women of a conclusion that is completely alien to the facts that are plain to see.

Everything necessary for faith and practice in accordance with the divine will is revealed to us.

Man’s nature is to refuse those revelations and to go about establishing his own form of righteousness which is always against God’s divine will.

Romans 10:3,  For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

That is the crux of the matter.

Rebellion against God. I will not have this man to rule over me.

Nobody tells me what to do.

I was watching a television show about homeless people.

This show specialized in reporting about young runaways who had taken to the streets, and many interviews of them were included.

The thing that was common to all of the runaways was their extreme self-centeredness.

Everything was about them.

They wished to live only for themselves.

They expected others to see to their needs with no thought of being an asset or a help to anyone in this world.

They were rebels against their parents and against God.

They were going about establishing righteousness according to their own set of rules.

But this is not what the righteousness of God is all about.

It is about conformance with the divine will and God will have his way!

The only way to be righteous is to conform to the divine will.

For his way is best for his creation.

The maker always knows what is best.

Don’t you check your car manual to see what oil the carmaker tells you to use.

It is so simple of a principle. The maker knows best.

And God tells us to consult the manual of life and to find the priority of life according to the maker for he says in: Go to Proverbs 8:10-11
