PROVERB PRACTICALS

Proverbs 21:1,  The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of waters: he turneth it withersoever he will.

A proper understanding of the principle expressed in this verse will bring peace to your heart.

When we yield to this knowledge we will stop kicking against the pricks of the authority that God places over us.

We so easily condemn our leaders and criticize them, but in reality we fail to believe that God is still in charge.

We may think that those in authority are beyond the bounds or beyond the reach of the Lord's hand.

But this verse says that the king's heart is in the hand of the Lord.

Through his way he turns it this way or that way so that his end is accomplished.

A people gets the leadership that God wants that people to have in order to accomplish God's purpose for that people.

Whether it be the Pastor you serve the Lord under, or the leader of the home or the President of the United States, the Lord will bring about what he desires for you when you faithfully serve him and are obedient to those who are over you in authority.
